No work on the house today. I'm a bit bummed but on the other hand it's not surprising because we had rain/storms overnight and more during the day today. So once again, no fancy pictures for you all.
I had to work today. I was a little crabbier about it today than I have been other overtime days. Not really sure why, but it just kinda grew as the day went on, and I left at 1pm instead of my normal 3pm. My job is 'relief person' so as soon as the last breaks were done there was really no reason for me to be there so I asked SupervisorDave if I could go and he let me. I don't think they mind on weekends because any bit of OT they can avoid paying out is good for them. hehe
So I came home early to find no one working on the house and hubby and the boys gone. They'd gone to hubby's parents' to help with more yard stuff. I felt sure that if I just parked my butt for the day I'd end up getting even crabbier, so I went outside to start mowing the lawn. Meena's area really needs some cleaning up, so I got the pushmower out and started there. And it started raining. Figures. I managed to get all over her area done though before I gave up and ran for the house.
Hubby and the boys came home at 3pm cuz they thought I'd be home soon. Teehee to them....I was already here. Puttered around the house for a bit, made brownies, made a pizza for supper, started laundry. Then parked my butt and logged onto Warcraft. Totally did not feel like doing anything major ingame so I've been working on the casual things like fishing and cooking. LOL Did pretty good, but I'm tired already, and on my way to read for a bit before bed.
Just wanted to get a blog entry posted for my diehard readers first.
