July 13 - Day 35

No work on house again today. We did notice a small area of damage on the foundation, and we know it's new because it's right in a spot the foundation guys had patched up. And we know someone from RoofDude's crew did it because we haven't done anything outside that could possible do that. So, here we are again...do we point this out? It's not something huge but dammit, when we JUST got it all fixed... *grrr*

Got my newly painted bird feeder back outside. Tended all my feeders for the first time in a loooooooong time. No birds all day. I know it will take a while for them to find their way back, if they ever do. Hehe. I think the finches might be gone though. We noticed a while ago that they'd left the feeder area, and we figured it was because of the squirrel that had started hanging around. No clue if that would be a factor, but that's the only thing we saw changing. So, I've set up some squirrel food far far away from the bird area to hopefully draw him away.

Played alot of Warcraft today. Put some major effort into questing and managed to level Fuddy (the druid/alchemist) two and a half levels. She's up to 60 now. WOOT!!

Other than that, just a really boring day. Not looking forward to tomorrow though. I have phone calls to make, and have to discuss huge amounts of business with RoofDude, and Ty has chiro. Bleah.

Off to read now. Oh! Speaking of reading, I was working on my Shelfari account and have added a little book thingie over on the righthand side of my blog page. Have a look!

PS - Totally forgot to mention Live Aid. DOH!! In short, today was the 23rd anniversary of Live Aid. Can you believe it's been that long?! Maybe I'll do a separate little anniversary entry later.

  4. No no nooooooo. The total project has been going for 35 days. First they tore off one whole room and totally rebuilt it. They've been working on the roof and other parts of the total project, off and on, here and there, for 35 days.

The roof could have been done in "a couple days" (according to him) if they'd only worked on that and didn't get delayed by rain.
