Oct. 11 - Minion Update

Picked up Minion a little while ago and they said he did fine.  He also had the last of the shots he needed, so he's all set until next year.  Anyway, I looked in the carrier when they brought him out to me and did a double take.  When I realized what I was seeing I was all "Awwww, he's dressed up for Halloween!"  The vet girl laughed and said "Well yeeeah, he IS a black kitty."

They gave him a spooktacularly cute bandana!

How flippin' cute is that??

As for how he's doing, he's more ambitious than he is coordinated right now.  He's trying to move around and be his normal self but his dopey condition is not allowing that.  It's quite humorous and sad all at once.  I was torn between trying to get that on video, or getting a picture of the bandana.  LOL!  And every few minutes he pauses for a breather and moment of rest and look of . . . 
"I'm heavily medicated and I've lost my balls.  How was YOUR day?"

  1. Awwww -- both a "So cute!" awww about him in the bandana and a "Poor baby" awww at the second picture. That picture's also bringing out an lol at the same time. :D (Plus that caption)

  3. This cat can NOT be kept down. He's still gogogo even in his wobbly way. I put him back in his carrier just to get him to settle down. He's quiet in there so maybe he's finally napping.

  8. He's still a bit mellow today, napping more than usual, but is being feisty with Lynx again and playing with his toys.

    Not licking his owies anymore but now is licking and scratching at one shoulder a lot. I don't know if that's where they put the fluids or what.

  9. Hope Minion's (inspired from WOW? hehe) feeling better now, I've also been considering neutering Skipper but just can't bear to because he's so cute and I actually want to breed him but due to space constraints it would not be nice to cramp more dogs in :(

  10. Snowblume ~ The name is not directly from WoW but since we're gamer geeks we're ok with the reference. lol

    I'll try to do a little post about his name soon. Hmm . . . did I ever post here about how we got him? Or was that all on Facebook? Hmmmmm.

    And that kitty still presents some of the ugliest faces. When he's tired or just waking up he is one ugly bugger. Last night I was holding him in my lap, petting him weird or something and he was purring and content but had his ears completely flattened to his head and looked SO stupid. lol
