Jewelry From Tuscon Bracelet

Back in January, I became aware that one of the soapers on my Must Try Next list was also making jewelry, and I instantly fell in love with this bracelet . . .

I'd posted a little blurb at the time, debating whether or not to order it, and eventually did give in and ordered.  I received the bracelet right away but I've been extremely lazy in posting about it.  A couple people have asked though, so I thought I better remedy this lazy situation.

I ordered the above bracelet from an Etsy shop called Jewelry From Tuscon, a side shop of the soapmaker Aunt Nancy.  It was originally priced at $20, but a 30% off sale was what helped me decide to go ahead an order so my price in the end was only $14 plus shipping.

I don't own a lot of jewelry because I rarely wear it, and I'd never ordered handmade jewelry from Etsy so I wasn't really sure what to expect.  I was actually tickled pink when my package arrived and I found this lovely gold box with silver string.  I guess I'd just been expecting to find it in a plastic bag or wrapped in a bit of tissue paper or something.  This was nice.

Inside the box was my gorgeous bracelet, resting softly on a cotton bed.  A business card and copy of the invoice were also tucked in here.

This is quite a nice, solid bracelet.  I don't really know what else to say about it because I am by no means a jewelry expert and am not sure what people look for in handmade items of this nature.  I just really like this piece!

What are your favorite pieces in the Jewelry From Tuscon shop?

  3. Seconded - it looks lovely on your wrist (even though it didn't look that special to me in the original pic).
