Happy Birthday, Minion!

Today is Minion's 1st birthday.  We don't know for sure when he was born, but this is the date the vet estimated the first time I took him in. 

He got a new pack of Mini Mice, and his very own can of big kitty food.  Both cats have dry food available 24/7, but I give them a portion of wet cat food for breakfast every morning.  Minion has been getting the kitten canned food all this time, but today he's graduating to regular adult style.  I know it probably didn't matter, but it was just something this mommy wanted to do.

(Well, one balloon at least.)

 Fattycat came to the party too!

And how did the birthday boy spend his day?  He slept in a window for a while.  He slept in a box for a while.  He slept in the top bed of the cat tower for a while.  He carried one of his new mice around for a while, then went back to sleep in the top bunk of the cat tower.  It's rough being one.

  1. Heh, my guy has some white chest hairs too. Happy birthday! (I can see why Lynx got his name, he does look like a lynx.)

  2. He has two small white patches on his chest (one is more in by his armpit), and a bigger white splotch on his belly.

    Hubby gave Lynx his name, but he's known more as Fattycat. :)

  4. He was so naughty today he was locked up in his crate for a while, first time in weeks that has had to happen. His obsession this morning was the top of the cabinet we have our Minnesota Vikings collection in. He knocked two bobble-heads off the top, and broke one of them.

    NAUGHTY KITTY! :(

    Then it got hot as the morning went on and he's been sleeping the day away.

    GOOD kitty! lol
