Order of the Odor - Vol. 4

A two part question once again this month:

1. Are you planning on gifting wax to anyone this Christmas?
I am, indeed.  I would love to give wax to everyone around me but sadly, most just aren't into it that much.  I think I'll be giving more candles than tarts.  I already have my eye on some for some coworkers.  I've also been thinking of giving Rosegirls chunks in tiny little gift bags to some coworkers who insist on ordering Scentsy, just to show them there are other options.  *evil grin*

2. Have you asked for any waxy gifts for Christmas?
I would love to receive some nice B&BW candles or even some Yankee ones, but again, the people around me aren't much into buying those types.  I haven't really asked for any wax this year because I have too much already and can never seem to get through it all.  Although... I did ask for a B&BW gift certificate that I might use on candles instead of lotions or body sprays.  Hehe!

Please let us know your answers in the comments! The ladies here at the Order are wishing you and your family the merriest of holiday seasons this year filled with love, joy and peace, and of course, lovely smells.

It's Always Something: Looking for some votives to scent your home and add firelight ambiance for the holidays this year? Deb recently hauled some amazing scents from a well known company, and by the end of the post you will be enabled. Consider yourself warned.

Fragrance Obsessed: There is one rule about Pie Club. No zucchini scents. No, that's not it. We don't talk about Pie Club? No. Oh! I remember. You don't EAT the pies... right. Curious about Sunnee's latest Pie Club experience? I know I am.

LoloLovesScents: Social media may have its drawbacks: pestering in-laws, VagueBooking, and unsightly tagged photos from 90's big hair days via #TBT, but there are perks too. Lauren's quick draw McGraw fingers enabled her to snag a most excellent sampler. This one is multi-vendor! So, what all did she get?

The Redolent Mermaid: Santa stops in Florida too, but getting in the holiday spirit can be difficult with swaying palm trees and 80 degrees of sunshine, but Julie has a trick up her sleeve. Come over and see what scent and vendor she is gaga over when it comes to the perfect Christmas scent.

  2. You sneaky enabler. Once those unsuspecting ladies lay nose on RG they are going to be hooked.

I hope Santa brings you a nice BBW gift card! Make sure to use coupons! SemiAnnual Sale will be right after Christmas too.

    1. I saw someone's Black Friday haul and she had a Hot Buttered Rum candle from B&BW. I was like "WANT!" because a few years ago when it was all the rage, I don't think I ever managed to get it.

  3. Love that you asked for a B&BW gift card! Woot! Hopefully you can get some wonderful stuff from there if you get one. :(

Those ladies aren't going to know what hit them once they try Rosegirls! It'll be adios Scentsy, hello, wide world of online vendor wax!

    1. Even if I give them Rosegirls chunks, they'll keep ordering from the obnoxious Scentsy woman at work because it's more convenient. *SIGH*

  4. "I would love to give wax to everyone around me but sadly, most just aren't into it that much." ---Who are you hanging out with? I think I would need more in common with these people :p
The cool Scentsy girls know the power of Indie wax --the others would benefit greatly from your sneaky attack with RG chunks.

    1. LOL - Might be a bad idea to introduce more people to Rosegirls. Openings and TATs are bad enough as is!
