Melted - Country Lane Keepsakes / Lemon Squares

Lemon Squares - 'A wonderful lemon pudding layered between vanilla cake and served with a sprinkling of confectioners sugar.'

The lemon seemed stronger on cold sniff but once warmed those cake notes really came out.  This is a really nice lemon bakery scent, more on the warm side than the bright and fruity side.  The lemon is creamy.  The cake notes are not overly sweet.  They combine to create a gently, cozy scent that I enjoyed.

I melted 1.1 oz. tart in my Glade warmer and had medium-strong scent.

  1. I'm loving your reviews about this vendor as I am hoping to order next month. May I ask your opinions on my cart? Guardian Angel, Honey Vanilla Love, Orange Vanilla Coffee, Warm Winter Vanilla Sugar, Sunset. Have you tried any of these? Any must haves I should add to my list? When ordering from a new vendor I try to get scents that sound unique, like something I can't get just anywhere. Obviously I love bakery, but I also enjoy a wide range of scents except most fresh/clean/laundry types. Any recs would be much appreciated; thanks for your wonderful blog!

    1. I'm still new to this vendor myself, only two small orders so far. I'm not familiar with any of those scents you mentioned. I do know that Kevin, who reads and comments here, is a huge fan of Country Lane Keepsakes, so maybe he'll chime in with his thoughts on those scents.

I hope you order soon! =)

    2. Amanda and Deb, I am a CLK fanatic! My personal preference is spa/clean/fresh/perfume fragrances that are unique and this vendor has many that I truly like. Sunset is a calming outdoorsy fragrance that's got an autumnal note but I like it any time. Orange Vanilla Coffee has strong orange AND coffee notes, very invigorating while Guardian Angel has some perfume notes but is generally a calming bedroom fragrance. My must-haves: Moon Shadow, Mocha, Sugar Milk, Stonefruit, Fluffy Candy Cane, Comforting Caramel and Caramel Maple Syrup. For something truly unique, I love Red Ginger Saffron, a hyper-revved up ginger with a strong saffron accent. Really nice for an a.m. pick-me-up!!

    1. I *DO* want my lemon bars! I'm just too lazy to make them. Why won't they just appear in my kitchen?!?!
