NeoCell Beauty / Joint Bursts Review & Giveaway! **CLOSED**

Almost three years ago a company called NeoCell had contacted me to do a review of one of their products.  I did it, and had fun with it.  They contacted me again last month and offered more products for review and a giveaway.  And it's funny how these things work out because right around the time they contacted me this time, I'd been internally whining about my old lady crepe paper skin.  LOL!
They heard my thoughts!

I was allowed to choose two products to try.  I knew I wanted to try these Beauty Bursts again because that is what I'd used last time.  I remembered being surprised by results that I couldn't quite pinpoint last time, so I was super hopeful that I'd see some results with the crepe paper look on my hands and forearms.

From the package:
'Having beautiful and radiant skin has never been so easy - or so delicious.  NeoCell Beauty Bursts deliver high absorption beauty nutrients in delectable, gourmet soft chews.
Super Collagen 1 & 3 is the body's beauty protein and strengthens skin, hair and nails.  Hyaluronic Acid is known as "Nature's Moisturizer" and hydrates the skin.  Vitamin C is essential to boosting collagen in the skin.
These three beauty nutrients work together to build beautiful skin from the inside out.'

These are somewhat hard and sticky chews, along the lines of Starburst candies.  I had to warm them in my hand first to soften them up.  People with sensitive teeth or dental work will want to chew carefully.  The package recommends 2-4 chews a day.  I took 2 a day, in the evenings, for one month.  (One bag has 60 chews, and sells for about $13-$19, depending where you go.)  The chews are very flavorful, nothing odd or medicinal about it.

Did they work?  Once again, I think they did.  I'm a huge skeptic when it comes to supplements and all their miraculous claims but this is twice now that I feel fairly confident something really did change.  Perhaps I'll be won over afterall!  My fingernails have ridges that run lengthwise.  I didn't notice any improvement in that but I did notice my nails seem to be growing like crazy again.  As someone who keeps their nails short for work, I wasn't too thrilled with this (LOL!) but for ladies who love to grow long nails, this would probably be a huge perk.  I once again noticed my hair seemed a lot softer and more well behaved.  And those changes that I can never quite pinpoint showed up in my face again.  It's not like it magically filled in all the lines and got rid of wrinkles, but there is *something* different, like it maybe fills out the face slightly.  No, it doesn't poof you up like you've had botox shots.

But did it work on the old lady crepe paper looking skin on on my hands and arms?  Not as miraculously as I'd hoped but yes, I do think it's helped a little.  And I think those results have started showing up late in the one month course of taking these chews.  If I were to continue, I wonder if my hands and arms would look even better.

I also tried NeoCell's Joint Bursts soft chews, which I think is a newer product.  You know how I've struggled with knee, back, and feet pain at work!

From the package:
'Giving your joints the fluidity and lubrication they need has never been so easy - or so delicious.
NeoCell Join Bursts combine Collagen Type 2, Turmeric, and Hyaluronic Acid in a soft chew that is bursting with juicy tropical fruit flavor for targeted joint support.
Collagen Type 2 is the main structural protein of joint cartilage and is what provides strength and cushioning in joints.
Hyaluronic Acid is the primary component of synovial fluid which lubricates the joints.
Turmeric is shown to promote healthy inflammatory response.
These three powerhouse ingredients work synergistically to support flexibility, mobility and comfort. Chew on this and take a comfortable step in the right direction.'

These chews are much softer than the Beauty Burst ones.  They are still very flavorful but these did a have a bit of 'grainy' taste to them.  The package recommends one chew a day so I took it every evening, along with my two Beauty Burst chews, for one month.  There are 30 chews in a package, and it sells for around $17, depending where you look.

Did they work?  I'm not sure.  I still had pain, but working 12 hours shifts on concrete floors in a factory will do that to you.  I think if they helped it was more in the recovery from the pain.  I seemed to bounce back faster, like I'd be stiff and sore when I got home at night but in the morning I'd be ready to go again instead of just piling another day of pain on top of it.  Was this from the chews?  I can't say for sure.  I guess we'll see how it goes now that my one month trial has run out.

When I chose the Joint Bursts to try, the NeoCell rep suggested a different product that had a stronger dose.  I declined because that other product was in pill form.  Well, after doing these Beauty and Joint chews for a month I think I will switch to a pill form if I decide to continue.  For me, I think just swallowing a few pills and being done with it will be easier.  And yes, I am seriously considering continuing with NeoCell's products!
