Melted - Tuscany Candle / Apple Cider Donut

Apple Cider Donut - [no scent description available]

I usually shy away from Tuscany wax melts because for some reason my brain tells me they are cheap seasonal offerings that have a strong plastic smell.  I'm not sure how that ever developed.  LOL!  This one does indeed have a bit of a plastic note from the clamshell but it does not hinder the warmed scent at all.  I was surprised and pleased to find that!  This one is quite spicy.  It was mainly a sugar and cinnamon coated cake donut, with an extra helping of spice.  Every once in a while I'd get a whiff of an apple-cinnamon note, but nothing cider-y ever showed itself.

I was also surprised with how strong this was.  I melted two cubes each (about 0.8 oz. worth) in a tea light warmer and in my Glade hot plate warmer, and was wowed by this spicy fall scent throughout most of the house.  It lingered in the air well after the warmers were off and the wax cooled.

This was a gift to me but I'm impressed enough to give this brand another chance when I come across them in the seasonal aisles of stores like Walmart and Menards.
