Happy Columbus Day! Happy Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend!
In celebration, I went to my mom's today and did her laundry and took her shopping. LOL
It was sunny today, and a little warmer. All the fall bugs are showing up in force now. The ladybugs and box elder boxes, looking for nooks and crannies to crawl into for winter. The bees and wasps getting slow and dumb and crabby as fall firmly sets in. So even though it was warm and sunny, being outside was a pain in the butt. I should have mowed the lawn today but, um, well, I didn't feel like it.
I did putter in the craft room though!
I'm focusing on fall and Thanksgiving cards now. I put my Halloween stuff away and have been itching to make some just plain fall things. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with this pumpkin spice set when I started, but I quite like this end result.
The first siding went up on the
barn workshop today. Yay! They got a good chunk of it done today. At this pace they should be done by the end of the week. I can't wait to see it then!
The Vikings play tonight so I'm hurrying to get this posted, and get supper ready before game time. Sorry if it's brief and rushed.
Tonight's throwback Halloween pic is from 1993, with a 2 1/2 year old Ty dressed as a little martial arts expert. He was sooooo into Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles already by this time, so it's no surprise. In fact, you can see his little action figure laying on the floor there. It's either April O'Neil from the Turtles, or Trini from the Power Rangers. lol
Alrighty, posting this and inhaling supper.
Hopefully you're cheering for the Vikings!!
